Knot by Lili St Germain

What a fantastic beginning to a new series by Lili St Germain! Knot may be a retelling of Repunzel, but Lili has added her own unique twisted and dark spin to that old fairy tale! I know she can deliver reads that can have you cringing, but they are highly addictive too. Add in a little attraction, some suspense and it's a definite winner for me!

The Prologue was freaking amazing! Getting that glimpse into the type of man that Ignacio was, I just new he was a different kind of evil. Then learning what happened to Seraphina made my heart break for her. Thank goodness for Xavier. He isn't so innocent, but he had good intentions and he brought back a spark of hope for Seraphina, and I just wanted to see more of them together. Even though it was such a short read, I could see Xavier trying to work through his guilt, and it was sweet seeing Seraphina blossom a little.

Lili St Germain is a bloody genius when it come to dark romantic suspense. Even in this short read I know I want more. The characters aren't perfect, they have issues , but I just want to see them grow and survive in their dangerous world. Knot is the beginning of Seraphina and Xavier's journey, and I NEED to see what happens next!

I have a link up for everyone at the bottom of the post you can add your swoons to, and I’ll set it up every week! So tell all other swooners out there to come on over, link up so we can visit each other! ***

A couple of short teasers today...

“I want to kiss you,” she whispers. I lick my lips. A kiss, my conscience can handle.

Lili St. GermainLili writes dark, disturbing romance. Her #1 bestselling Gypsy Brothers series was created in a serial format – quick, intense episodes released frequently with some wicked cliffhangers. The Gypsy Brothers series focuses on a morally bankrupt biker gang and the girl who seeks her vengeance upon them. The Cartel series is a prequel trilogy of full-length novels that explores the beginnings of the club, to be released in 2015 by HarperCollins.

Lili quit corporate life to focus on writing and so far is loving every minute of it. Her other loves in life include her gorgeous husband and beautiful daughter, good coffee, Tarantino movies and spending hours on Pinterest.

She loves to read almost as much as she loves to write.
