Who is the UNSUB?

For Agent Sadie Bonds, finding the answer to that question means the difference between life and death for someone close to her. The UNSUB’s latest abduction reaches right into the heart of the ACPD, forcing every member of the department to search within their ranks for the sadistic perpetrator.

Suspicion not only clouds the task force; it slithers into Sadie and Colton’s bond, challenging their love. Discovering the truth means facing their past together. Sadie’s connection to Colton has quieted her inner demons—but is she strong enough to confront the real monster?

All players take their places as the stage is set for the final scene. With the UNSUB manipulating the game, even Sadie and Colton fall victim, spiraling deep into the darkness that threatens not only their lives, but their trust. As Sadie navigates a tortuous maze, Colton will do whatever is takes to protect her—even if that means revealing his secret.

The truth will set you free. Only for Sadie, her truth will test the very fabric of her reality. She must silence the threat, or risk losing everything and everyone she loves.

Before beginning the final book in the With Visions of Red series, I decided to go back and read the first two books, so that all the details were fresh in my mind. It was a good idea to do a recap, but not necessary if you have enjoyed the series so far. During that read for me, however, so many characters remained suspects as I tried to figure out who the Unsub was and if there was anyone else involved. It was an intense, sizzling and thrilling conclusion to the trilogy.

Sadie continued to work close with Quinn on uncovering the Unsub before it was too late. They chased all leads, despite the interference from outside parties. It was becoming difficult for Sadie as it was bringing up a lot of demons from her past, but she was relentless on pursuing the killer. Carson was still as annoying as ever, trying to seek approval from his superiors. There are a lot twists, from a lot of different directions, and I was constantly on edge! I loved the suspense, and watching as they pieced the clues together.

Sadie and Colton have shared a lot of their demons and because of that their connection is stronger than ever. Their sexual encounters are still scorching, emphasizing the level of trust they have in one another. Colton has got to be one of my favourite male leads; the way he worshiped Sadie, but remained pretty dominant in his own way.

Trisha Wolfe blew me away with the final book in the series. I thought that it was cleverly written, as I wasn’t able to pinpoint who the Unsub may be. *Applause* Bravo Trisha! Looking back now, I can see how I was misdirected and all the little hints dropped along the way. All the loose ends were tied up and I had a deeper understanding of Sadie and how she was shaped into the woman she is now. The With Visions of Red series was a fast paced, red-hot and suspenseful read that will have you hooked until the final page!

From an early age, Trisha Wolfe dreamed up fantasy worlds and characters and was accused of talking to herself. Today, she lives in South Carolina with her family and writes full time, using her fantasy worlds as an excuse to continue talking to herself.
