Nomi’s Weekly Wrap Up 126

Nomi’s Weekly Wrap Up is a combined meme with the Sunday Post hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer, Bought, Borrowed and Bagged hosted by Braine @ Talk Supe and Stacking The Shelves hosted by Tynga’s Reviews. I’ll share news, post a recap of the past week and tell you what will be happening on my blog in the week ahead. I will also tell you about the books and goodies that I have managed to pick up.
My eldest to kids (9 & 7) did a little performance at their school assembly this week. The hubs and I made an effort to go, which was lucky because my daughter also got an award for improving her maths. I was busy with a few other school related projects for a few days there too.

Around the blog… well I helped co-host a FB party for Trisha Wolfe and Cindy Thomas… of boy, I didn’t realise how busy those things get. I was busy keeping all the posts pinned to the top so people could find it. It was fun and the whole experience was certainly enlightening!

  4. YAY! I got both Paradise City and Ruby Circle this week, too, Naomi. I hope we'll both enjoy them.
Both FB parties and Twitter parties are really hard to keep up with. But it looks like you and the other participants had fun anyway.
Have a fantastic week ahead, happy reading :)

  9. Tour organizers and "party" hosts makes it so easy. I ran a virtual book tour for an author I love a few years back and thought it was fun, it's not for me! I won't do it again! LOL

Congrats to your little princess and enjoy your new lovelies!

  12. That is some list of books! I swear, I wish I had the discipline to do these posts - but I don't. Plus I have a horrible one click and freebie habit, and keeping track of those books would be near impossible. But I love your list, you really have some doozies on there!

That's great you were able to be there to see her receive it. I'm a bit envious of a few books you hauled in this week...do you want to guess which ones?!? ;)

  23. Haha! I don't think I could do it all the time... I can concentrate on one author who releases a book once every 3-4 months!! Any more than that... too much!

    ReplyDelete
  24. I am too... I have a couple to read before it though! Sigh....

    ReplyDelete
  25. Yeah... I want to read that soon I think, a couple of review books first though *wink*

  29. I remember those Monday morning assemblies. Awesome that your kids got to perform, and an award. Well done!
You also got a great haul of books, I see. The Ruby Circle, can't wait to see your thoughts on that one.

  31. Jessica @ a GREAT readMay 23, 2015 at 9:23 AM

OOoh very nice!! Those are all new to me! Except for Ruby Circle! Still waiting for my copy to arrive! I've been spoiling myself lately by buying signed books! Costs more, but it's been giving me happy feels until I can find a job! Course, I'm sure I'll have tears once I get my credit card bill this month! lol!

    Happy Reading!
