Celebrating Royalty

Thank you to Nomi’s Paranormal Palace for inviting me to be here today! I love to visit with royalty. J That’s probably why my current Shadowed Love trilogy is all about the Shadow Shifter King. Well, the first book is about King Vale and the forbidden relationship with his Senior Healer, Jessa.

The second book is about Caleb, a Warrior from another realm, and a female Warrior from the shadow kingdom named Tabitha. Then the last book is about Princess Arianna, Vale’s younger sister. So while each story has its own hero and heroine, the trilogy revolves around a kingdom in turmoil.

I write romances first and foremost. The first series I wrote that sold happens to be set in the Realm of Shadows, an alternate dimension. The Shadow Shifters came from the Mortal realm in 657. They’re grounded in our ways and the vibe is very Old World. I’ve always been a fan of posh and circumstance. And scandal!

The Shadow Shifters use the shadows of their Ancestor gods to shift at high speeds. The series has a definite paranormal feel, and I think if you enjoy paranormal romances, this would probably be a good fit. At least, I hope so.

Vale is new to the throne and struggling to unite his kingdom after the death of his brother. Jessa is struggling with a scandalous reputation she doesn’t deserve and her compulsion to save at the risk to herself. Their relationship is more than frowned upon, but somehow their love is what will save the kingdom from invaders intent on destroying their peace.

I’m a huge romance fan, and I also love the strangeness of our world. My favorite thing is embracing characteristics that make my characters unique. In my opinion, everyone is a little weird, and I think that’s awesome and what sets us all apart.

If you’re a fantasy romance or paranormal fan, I hope you’ll take a risk on the shadows. To me, there’s nothing better than a little paranormal fun. What do you think?

Thank you Kinley for writing a great post and for visiting Nomi’s Paranormal Palace today. I love Paranormal fun, it is my favourite genre. I am looking forward to reading these books myself……Check them out……
